With Rasheed Wallace to the Celtics, Trevor Ariza signing with the Rockets, and Ron Artest with the Lakers, what free agents are left? The Cavaliers are supposedly interested in Anthony Parker and Shawn Marion. If Bryan Colangelo were to give up Shawn Marion, I know Raptors fans would be pissed. All Raptors fans are having bad feelings with Chris Bosh. He hasn't said anything in the media which is good, but fans don't want him to pull a Vince Carter. Honestly, I couldn't blame Chris is he were to leave. Bring Bosh to Miami with Wade and Moon and I'd be all set.Lunar Searching
Moon is still with the Heat for now. The Celtics have reported interest in him. They are looking for someone to back up Paul Pierce, so Shawn Marion is out of the picture. Anthony Parker is more of a shooting guard, and Trevor Ariza is gone. Grant Hill could be an option for the Celtics. He's the size of a small forward and still has a little gas in the tank. It still looks like Moon might go to the C's, but I hope he stays with the Heat.
Ron Ron with the Lake Show
We all remember when Ron Artest got physical with Kobe Bryant, and although it didn't appear to be too violent, there was definitely some heat between the two of them. Now they will be teammates and Ron has already said on ESPN he will look forward to playing with Kobe. I think Artest will be mature enough to work with Kobe. He doesn't demand the ball that much on offense which is where a problem could arise. He's more of a defensive player and knows his role on offense. It's a lot like playing in Houston for Artest. Yao/Gasol, T-Mac/Kobe, the only difference being that T-Mac isn't as good as Kobe. The Lakers are now a definite Finals contender. Losing Ariza would have been a b
ad thing for L.A. if they didn't replace him.Shaq Introduced in Cleveland
"Win a ring for the King" is what Shaq said in his first appearance in Cleveland. He said that all the pieces to win a championship are in front of them, but hard work will determine whether Cleveland brings home a championship. The Cavs presented Shaq with a Cavaliers snow shovel and snow boots. Shaq has been accustomed to playing in warm weather (Orlando, L.A., Miami, and Phoenix). Now Shaq will have to put some snow tires on his Shaqmobile.
